November's nuance

Neither summer nor winter

It's weather makes for a fickle friend

A glimpse of sun through the rainbow's end

A chill in the air

Arise to sunshine

Glinting temptation through curtains

But before breakfast is hurriedly taken

A torrent of rain pelting and breaking

The stems of summer blooms

Brushing fallen leaves

Raises the wrath of the autumn wind

Tearing through oak and sycamore

Their autumn foliage left on the floor

Branches bare

And then a cruel reminder

Breeze dropped, clouds banished, a blue sky

A milky sun brings a warm caress

A brief interlude, the balance redressed

November's nuance
