Sing it; you know the tune!
It's beginning to look a lot like springtime
Everywhere you go
Take a look at the flowerbeds, snowdrops nodding their pearly heads
With daffodils and crocus' swaying to and fro
It's beginning to look a lot like springtime
Tulips pushing through
But the prettiest sight to see
is the sunshine through the trees
From your own front door
A flurry of starlings and song thrush that sings
to delight us ordinary folk
A robin that chirps and a wagtail that twerks
to bring us reverant hope
And Mum and Dad and kids alike can't wait to get outside
It's beginning to look a lot like springtime
Everywhere you go
There are clouds in a clear blue sky,
the kind that are white and high
The fluffy kind that never threaten pouring rain
It's beginning to look a lot like springtime
The breeze is light and warm
And the lambs as they chase and leap, will disperse your winter's sleep, on your morning walk
It's beginning to look a lot like springtime
Colorful and bright
But the prettiest sight to see is sunshine through the trees
From your own front door
Sure, it's springtime ... once more
