Snow: a poem

The transformative magic of a snowy day

Erasing all signs of yesterday's January

A blanket of white reimagines the day

As a beautiful playground, a wonderland sanctuary

Monochrome tones have whitewashed the land

A ghostly blizzard shrouds the hill in white

Peace has descended, silence its command

The light remains low and dusk will come early tonight

Light the fire and turn the lamps down low

With luck, tonight, it will snow, snow, snow
