Who am I? A teacher for twenty years, I have now retired from my full time classroom role. I have been happily married for over 30 years and have three wonderful children who are now all grown up. As a family we loved the outdoors and enjoyed lots of walking and camping holidays. Since the children flew the nest we have continued enjoying walks as a couple, and a knee replacement operation has allowed me to continue walking. Walking gives me 'us' time and 'me' time; enjoying the fresh air and outdoors wherever I am, and I would love to share those experiences with you.

The title is a bit of a 'Play on Words' as I love to walk but also like to write (or some may say 'ramble on') about walks as well. I also like to 'ramble on' about other things, and have been known to express myself through poetry so there is an expansion option already built in.
